最近知り合った方から、この言葉をプレゼントしていただきました。
その時の嬉しさと、忘れないために、一つの作品として表現しました。
「今」を大切に生きること。
結局、それが一番大切なのだと感じます。
鈍く光るスチールの質感。
湧き上がるようなアルコールインクの生命力。
そして、強い決意を込めた墨の黒。
あなたにとっての「今」が、かけがえのない時間でありますように。

Carpe diem
A Latin phrase meaning “Live in the present.”
Someone I recently met gave me these words as a gift.
The joy I felt at that moment, and my wish never to forget them, inspired me to express them in this artwork.
To live each moment with care.
I believe that, in the end, it is what matters most.
The softly shining texture of the steel.
The vibrant energy of the alcohol ink.
And the deep black of the sumi ink, filled with strong determination.
I hope that your “now” will be a truly precious time.
