「有」と「無」

正反対の意味を持つ言葉ですが、
私には、いつも背中合わせにある
表裏一体の言葉にも思えます。

「ある」の裏には、ないものがあり。
「ない」の裏には、あるものがある。

見方を変えると、
ないと思っていたものも、
すでに自分の中にあるのかもしれません。

雲を掴むような、壮大なイメージを
白の質感と、かすかに光る金に込めました。

“Yu” and “Mu” — presence and absence.

These two characters have opposite meanings, yet to me, they always seem to exist side by side, like two sides of the same coin.

Within what is present, something may be missing.
Within what seems absent, something may still be there.

Perhaps, when we look at things differently, we’ll find that what we thought we lacked was within us all along.

I brought this vast, almost impossible-to-grasp idea to life through layers of white texture and subtle glimmers of gold.
